My Daily Gym Routine: A Peek Into My Workout Schedule

If you’ve been following me on Instagram (@leighann.manross), you know that fitness is a huge part of my life. I get a lot of questions about my workout routine, so I wanted to share a breakdown of my weekly schedule and some of my favorite exercises. Whether you’re looking for inspiration or just curious about what I do in the gym, I hope this gives you some insight!

This is the workout routine that works best for me, and I’m sharing it in case it can be helpful to others! However, fitness results vary from person to person, and there’s no “get fit quick” solution. Results come from time, dedication to a healthy lifestyle, and consistent workouts. If you’re just starting, take it at your own pace and listen to your body! Get support from a qualified trainer to ensure you are lifting correctly and not going to cause any injuries.
My Weekly Gym Schedule
This is not my entire workout, just a few of my favorites. Please reach out if you're interested in my full plan :)
🔹 Legs/Glutes + Abs
Hip Thrusts (warm up set x10, add weight 2 sets of 8, add weight 2 sets of 8, drop to warm up weight 1 set of 10)
Romanian Deadlifts (3x10)
Squat Rack (3x10)
Leg Press (3x12) -- on leg press I do wide leg press, close leg press, and calf press
Leg Curls + Leg Ext. (3x10)
Kettle Bell Standing side Crunch (3x10)
Leg Raises (3 sets of 20)
Russian Twist on Decline Bench (3x10)
🔹 Back + Shoulders
Lat Pulldowns (4x10)
Seated Rows (3x12)
Zippers (3x12)
Face Pulls (3x12)
Plated Back Extension (3x15)
Shoulder Press (3x10)
Plate Raises (3x10)
Shoulder Press Machine (3x10)
🔹 Chest + Arms
Chest Press Incline (4x10)
Chest Press (3x10)
Fly Machine (3x10)
Pull Overs (3x15)
Hammer Curl (3x10)
Curl (3x10)
Dips (3x10)
Friday's are always FAVE Friday! I will rotate these and mix and match towards the end of the week based on where my recovery is at. But on Friday, I just do all of my favorites.
